Sorry if duplicate- Powering up mons going forward

Level 36 player but casual for the most part although gym battles was always my favorite because mostly get rural spawns. I've saved roughly 720k in dust- have all elite attackers and movesets for the most part. We kept hearing wait for rework to update, now that its happen and cp I guess is irrelevant what exactly do you power up now? Seems to me dust has become significantly less important at this time?

Too early to speculate, but my guess is the highest DPS mons will be most useful for raids...a 30,000 CP Blissey with a million HP (Any old FF7 players here battle the weapons?) would be a monster!

Spam non-stop and revive/heal/repeat for 5 minutes...

So basically now just power up elite attackers past level 30? Tyranitar, dragonite etc no need to power up defenders? I have a Volt Switch Zap Cannon Ampharos 95% I have been saving candies to max out but now it seems useless? I'm so confused lol

Hah would time out by the time that animation is done.

You may want to use your lower level attackers (prestige squad) to attack a gym...if the 'Motivation' removed is calculated based on CP of the attacker VS CP of the defender.

Don't do anything until we know more.
