Somebody Turn Off the 2K Egg Machine......
OK .. OK.. Event is over... PLEASE turn off the 2K egg generator !!!.. I am getting nothing but 2k eggs.. I am burning thru incubators like a summer wildfire... 9 - 2k eggs still in my hatchery and no end in sight ........

I agree. I spent about 3,000 pokecoins (all free from gyms) on incubators during the event, trying to cycle through as many as possible. However, on the last day, when I knew I wouldn't be able to collect anymore "event" eggs, I stopped purchasing incubators, and I stopped putting 2k eggs in the limited incubators.
After having as many as nine incubators going at once during the event (something I have never done before), I am now down to the infinite one (now reserved for 2k eggs) plus one limited one (currently holding a 10k egg). I'll probably only have one or two limited incubators at a time for a while, until I can build my coin balance back up.
I don't care so much about the double XP, but I was running all the incubators to try to hatch some of the better pokemon that were more common in eggs during the event.
