Soloing the new Tier 3 raid bosses?

How difficult are they? Would their counters be similar to those for Machamp?

Breloom is Machamp except more counters due to typing. Moltres, poison Gengar, Entei etc all viable options. Flying being double effective, double flying Rayquaza is a beast. (I’ll be powering up one of my own). It will be hitting harder than Machamp.

Hitmon’s are difficult, Hitmonlee in particular, dealing more damage than Hitmonchan. Doable with LVL30+ optimal counters

GamePress has added counters to these Pokémon’s pages. Refer to that too

Not so fast. Machamp has Steel-type moves. Breloom is also Grass-type. As for the Hitmons...

Glad I powered up a double flying Ray. Now if I can only find a Breloom

Some or Breloom's counters double resist grass. Also, with Breloom's fire and double flying weaknesses, he should be easier than Machamp overall.
The Hitmons higher defense poses a challenge beating the clock. Though their fighting moves are inferior to Machamp, they have access to moves that hit flying SE. Overall, I expect them to be harder than Machamp on average.

Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are quite hard and only have about 6 viable counters total. Breloom is super easy and should be beatable with a level 20 team.

Didn't even need weather boost to defeat C/DP Breloom with Fearows.

I just tried Hitmonchan with Ice Punch. My anti-Machamp team failed miserably. The charge attacks came so fast that dodging did cost too much time and I frequently did not even get the chance to attempt, being in cooldown from a charge attack or Confusion. But without dodging, my psychic glass cannons went down fast. Normally I would bulk up with Exeguttors, but as plants they too fell prey to the ice. Rayquaza, of course, got hit even worse. Only my Mewtwo could stand up to this for a while, but he alone was not enough.

I just got back from defeating a Hitmonchan with Counter + Ice Punch. I won with a whole 2 seconds remaining. The things I realized from this raid is that Mewtwo did a lot of damage and helped me greatly. Try not to dodge at all. The only time I dodged was a few Ice Punches at the end, only because Dragonite was my final pokemon and I needed to fire off a few Outrages for the win. I feel like the best summary of a Hitmonchan raid is on the solo guide page of Gamepress where is says that Hitmonchan is a challenging boss, especially without Mewtwo.

Breloom is trivial, low defense stat with a double weakness to Flying. Just don't get wiped out since all its charged moves hit pretty early and deal great damage.

Hitmonlee should be hard due to its high defense stat, theoretically barely doable by Espeons/Alakazams at around level 30.

Hitmonchan is very similar to Hitmonlee, but with more diverse moves.
