Solo a Tier 4?

Not sure about beating one but I bet you could get real close my solo 4 star try.

I don't think so. Absol would be the most likely candidate, and the best result from simulations I could find is a weather-boosted level 40 Machamp with 15A, 15S, and defense between 0-5, which takes ~208 seconds to beat an Absol with snarl/megahorn, using the no-dodging strategy. The Machamp dies seven times before defeating the Absol.

However, it is certainly possible that Niantic could introduce new T4 bosses that might be soloable. I'm not sure if they would want to, though. Maybe as a special event boss or something.

Absol should be possible if Niantic implements the levels of each weather; if level 4 cloudy, it should be possible, if the 1.4 multiplier is being applied.
