Solo gym defenders can get more coins?

Just had a solo Feraligator bring back 43 or so coins I put in about 14 hours ago...Not sure if that means anything but it just happened.

The system changed. Now it gives 1 coin per 10 minutes and it's limited to 50 coins per day.
Probably you already got 7 coins today and this Feraguy got you to the cap.
