Game has really stagnated with suicune and mewtwo will not be readily available unless you go to a sponsor.

Might go back to raid a raikou but no more regular gaming for me.

Gen3 is coming soon, and we are all waiting for Mewtwo, but you don't need a sponsored gym for that. I got mine at a regual gym in a suburban area (only 73% IV unfortunately).

Sorry to hear it. Thanks very much for your advice in raid matters, I really appreciated it and I will miss your expertise. Although I have to admit I am considering taking a break from this forum. Times have become too post-factual.

I'm feeling the same way, my first step is stop buying coins though and just do the dailies.

in the same boat. not even the daily reward is worth the trouble where i live. will only be playing during events from now on until spring, if i ever go back to playing daily.

I'm still having fun at it. During the last event, I started a second account on a spare device. As not to be a double account hypocrite, I set defined rules for how I play it. (1) It's the same team - no alt account gym shaving. (2) Never leave two defenders in a gym. (3) Never attack a gym with both devices.

Other than that, it's been fun trying to build a raid team quickly. Started during the last event, as an experiment to see how quickly I could level it up with hardly any effort (enter pogo+ and raids), and now at level 25. Finding the 1000+ wild Rhyhorn is actually exciting, as I have an instant raider against Entei. Actually ran to my car and drove too fast to catch a wild Dragonite that appeared on the in game finder. (I don't use 3rd party pokemon scanners)

For my main account, there is not much to do, other than gather stardust and take down opposing gyms, so this has been a fun exercise.

I did that too, before the event though, all legit reasons too, same team and all, just to see how fast I could level it up. It is fast when you know what you are doing. I stopped though, when I got to around 25 or so, because at the airport in Hawaii, I caught a strong shiny pikachu AND it was a first dex entry. I was sooooo happy....until I realized that I was on the wrong account! ugh. I haven't even seen another since then in the US.
