So excited for mixed legacy/current movesets

With TMs, I believe we will now be able to mix our legacy sets (for those that have them) with current ones. I personally have a DB/HB Dragonite and a SW/DC one that can't wait! What other sets can you think of that will be good mixed legacy/current?

Dragonite - DT/DC
Dragonite - DB/O
Gyarados - DB/O
Charizard - FS/FL
Omastar - RT/RB

They confirmed that the TMs give legacy moves?

I don't think it's been confirmed, the author of this post probably already has some Pokémon with legacy moves.

More than likely legacy moves will not be in the TMs. But if a trainer already have a pokemon with a good legacy move such as a Dragon breath or dragon claw and want to reroll the terrible move such as steel wing or hyper beam they can end up with a DB/OR or DT/DC dragonite.

That is what I think too. If it is the case pre-gymrework good legacy movesets could be very valuable later on.

Yeah, to clarify, this is only if you already have the legacy moves.

Well we don't know exactly how it works just yet. It is going to depend on how they decide to implement it. It could be from the current moves each pokemon knows, or they could make it a rng from the entire move pool, since they said you teach them a new move.

So it could be on a steel wing/ hyper beam dragonite, you use the charger TM, and confirm you want to. Then it give say 3 charge moves. Say for instance Aerial Ace, Hyper Fang and Thunder. Then asks which move would you like to teach your dragonite?

Would allow players to change their moves without everyone having the same movesets on every pokemon instantly. But we still have to wait and see how it works first

They said it'll be random and I can assume it will draw from the current movepool. I.E. I will use a charged move TM on my DB/HB Dragon and hope for Outrage.

Most likely you just reroll for the possible 2 or 3 movesets the pokemon can have in the wild. I would love that not to be the case (give us legacy moves, and new moves not found in the wild on that pokemon).

Lapras - IC/HP (counters fire pokemon)
Ninetales - FS-FT (probably still not worth it in new meta)

Will see what is the reroll.
If a nite with Sw/hb can learn twister, i say it is an improvement. Lol
