So, to level up a badge at a gym... You want to fight the tougher pokemon and lay down your toughest pokemon. According to this chart. I wish payout per min was more about your level at the gym, i.e. Bronze 1 coin an hour, Silver 1 Coin every 10 mins, Gold 1 coin every 5mins. First time seeing this chart, anyone ever seen anything like this yet?

no and I was wondering how you leveled up gyms. Ive just been leaving my strongest ones at gyms for till they get kicked out in a day.

According to this, you want strong pokemon still there and to lay strong pokemon down. I just want the damn Gold Badge.

What is "defending a gym"? The reward appears to be massive. Like, does this mean that the way to level the gym badges is to put a 3.6k trex in the first spot and then switch to a low level alt on the other team and attack it with pidgeys?

I got a gold gym badge and I didn't do any of this stupid stuff...
It's no mystery - Feed berries, do raids, and keep control of the gym.
