So apparently there will be shiny variants of the gen3 ghosts

Sounds like a good opportunity for shiny hunting. I wonder if they might get released in the form of raid bosses instead of just being in the wild. Or maybe both.

Did anyone find a shiny legendary in the world?

I can't find any claims that anyone has caught any of those from a raid. The only confirmed caught shinies so far are Magikarps and Pikachus. I have a shiny Raichu, and of course there's a red Gyarados in a lot of gyms so at least those exist for sure.
