Snorlax in raids?

It's been established using Blissey during a raid makes you a bad person, but what of Snorlax? You'd think he hits harder than she does. I have a Lick/Hyper beam one I'm wondering if I should sink dust into.

That being said though I would love to see a level 4 Blissey raid boss.

It doesn't irritate me nearly as much as Blissey. I really don't have a problem with someone using it as their 6th pokemon, as long as we aren't at a risk for timing out.

As a 6th pokemon against a lugia, Lick/Heavy Slam shouldn't draw hate. but i would not have more than one, just your last pokemon that will stand up and still do something, Blissey has no business in either bird raid, Snorlax yes.

What about Blissey with Dazzling Gleam?

No, Blisseys attack is a joke. Snorlax may actually be somewhat useful. and i say only for Lugia because Vape is better as a 6th for Articuno. TANK. I personally dislike Blissey because so many people use them, but as an attacker in general never use them in raids.

Just the best defender and worst attacker.

Still really slow. I suppose it might be marginally worthwhile as number 6 against a psychic type so Lick is at least getting a little extra damage from type advantage. But normal does share the same worst matchup as dark against psychic raid boss with Focus Blast.

Its decent for Alakazam raids besides Lick/Hyper Beam is a beast to take down gyms and use only a max potion/revive.

Lick/Body Slam is a beast move set for an attacking Snorlax. I'm thinking of using a fast TM on my old ZH/BS defender Snorlax.

I have a 2810CP L/BS attacker Snorlax. Its fine, but tbh i prefer L/HB for attacking a gym. I am thinking about to use a fast TM on my 3122CP ZH/BS Snorlax to become useful on this meta too, and if i want in the future i can back to ZH again.

So am I. It's over 3,000, which means it's basically collecting dust on the shelf. I'd like to be able to use it for SOMETHING.

Snorlax actually has a halfway decent attack stat...isn't it around 190 or something? That's pretty doable for raids, but your DPS isn't as efficient as other glass cannons, obviously.

Snorlax's attack stat is exactly 190. But he doesn't have a STAB quick move, most of his damage comes from charge moves.
Lick/Earthquake Snorlax is also a good tank counter for Gengar, being 'immune' to ghost moves.

Very similar to using Lugia and people don't complain about that. If you have one maxed out, it is still a worthy addition.

I use my 2 Lick/HB Snorlaxes as tanks in a Lugia raid, as I don't have enough good attackers to Lugia, besides 3 B/SE Tyranitars.

What are their CP?

Both are slightly below 2300.

Snorlax with L/HB is ok, it's a much lower tier option, between a DT/C Gyarados (better option) and a WG/RB Omastar (lower option).

Because Lugia is weak vs ghost you get SE damage for Lick, and HB is powerful. Snorlax (190) has much better attack than Blissey(129) so it's passable. As a frame of reference Snorlax's attack is between Lugia (193) and Cloyster(186) for attack stat.
