Snorlax as a Mewtwo Counter

It's dps is too low to be a lead attacker...but if you are someone that likes a tank in slot6 it will do an admirable job of that, or as a team filler if you are low on options.

Don't over think it. So far, Mewtwo raids are exclusive and even in low population areas enough players will show up such that your damage won't be significant to make a difference in balls.

Snorlax isn't optimal, gamepress provides a good overview of counters against each raid boss.

I have 4 T-Rex's with double dark moves and two Snorlax's with lick to battle Mewtwo. Snorlax is a tank. The T-Rex is what you want to fight Mewtwo.

It isn’t a bad option for your last slot. The overall damage it will do before fainting is actually better than a lot of other options.

If the Mew2 does not have FB (Snorlax is not bulky enough to last long here and make up for its lower kill speed compared to top counters), Snorlax would be viable for 5. or 6. position in my opinion. However, BS is considerably worse than HB as an offensive charge move against Mew2 (about 15% difference in overall combat effectiveness), so I for one would only bring a Snorlax with HB to the raid. Obviously I would not recommend ctm-ing a great legacy move, but maybe you have another viable Snorlax candidate?

Change it to ZH and throw this tough defender in gyms.
