snorlax with lick/earthquake... any experience sharing?

I'll probably throw it to the gym for a few times to test water. Then it might stay idle in my collection though it's my top 12th Pokemon in CP.

Just wildly caught a snorlax with lick/earthquake with cp 2296. Worst moveset anyway.

Any good use of it? Please share your experience. Thanks.

For gym defending since its high CP.

Still a pain to take down from a gym. Lick doesn't do a lot of damage, but it charges EQ quickly and I find them a pain to dodge.

I fall asleep using Snorlax as attackers, but I'm sure he'd work okay.

A sub-optimal Snorlax is still a Snorlax...

To fight against Snorlax, I usually choose a rock type like Rhydon or Golem (for resistance to Body Slam and Hyper Beam) or Arcanine (for attack strength). Both of those are weak to Earthquake though, forcing me to change that plan for something different. If I am training a team gym against Lick+Earthquake, I'll use a Pidgeot (resistance to both); but fighting an enemy gym, I'll end up using a Vaporeon.
