Snorlax 82%, good to power up?

I finally got my first snorlax, at level 29!! He has Lick+Hyper Beam. I'm really happy that I found my first Snorlax but, it isnt above 90%. Should I power up it?

Do u have enough candies? Actually, as an attacker, u do not need to power it up too much.

It was hatched, I have 19 candies for it. It's IV's are 12/14/11... I all my top 12 are above 95%, I normally wait to have a good one to evolve, but at level 29 it's my first one. It is pretty rare on my area, so that's why I have some doubts.

I think the answer relies on whether using that 19 candy will actually be useful to you. At level 29, you probably have several strong attackers/defenders already. Your level 20 Snorlax has ~1740 CP, right? Your 19 candy will let you power it up to level 23 (~2000 CP). If that makes you happy, go for it. If you really wanted something bigger, then wait. Your next Snorlax may be better, but even if it's not, at least you'll have more candy and be able to power this one up higher.

Thanks for the input. I will not power it up, now lets wait for more 1,5kk exp to hatch another one with better IV's xD.
