It is the fan's favorite defending moveset, so yes I would power it up.

Yes - best defending moveset, and fine for attack.

My two (finally hatched a second on Friday) both came with Lick/Body Slam, and they do okay for both roles (not a great fan of Snorlax as an attacker though).

Awesome for defense - gets an "A" rating on this site, I think it is even better then ZH/Hyperbeam which also gets an "A" for defense (Hyperbeam not too hard to dodge). Guess it comes down to your candy supply and if you have something better IV or level-wise to use the candy... or really want to use for attacking.

Definitely...I got Snorlax with ZH-HB and hes a beast...

Best defensive moveset imo as body slam is tricky to dodge. But in reality any moveset for Snorlax is good defensively, he will always be a strong defender due to his high HP and defence stats.
