Slaking Balancing

Gen 3 is knocking at the door and the spotlight has to be on Slaking. Its 5441 CP is insane! Everyone is wondering how it will be balanced. I think the best 3 ways are:

#3. Nerfing Slaking. This is not a good idea because everyone will like to see the 5441 CP as 'A Part of the Game'.

#2. Giving Slack Off as a quick move to Slaking. It will do no damage(actually 1 damage) like Splash. So Slaking jas to wait for its energy to use a damaging move.

#1. Giving Slaking no quick move at all! #2 is a good idea but 1 damage and some energy gain from its quick move will still make Slaking unstoppable. The best thing to do will be to not give it any quick move. So, it has to wait for its energy to gain to do damage. It will perfectly reflect the truant ability. It will be even better if Slaking gets Hyper Beam and Hammer Arm(new tripple bar move). So Hyper Beam will be a one hit KO move and Hammer Arm will be a rapid fire move(Comparatibly of course).

There are other ways I'm hearing like making the moves slower or weaker or something. But personally I think it will be complicated. However, I know this won't reach Niantic but I would love which method gets the highest votes.

Maybe like the main serie game. It will stop and sleep one round after use the move.

Yawn (non-damage move) has been added to be GAME_MASTER file. Its existence in PoGO is probably for Slaking. So Slaking will only deal damage from its charge moves.

Yep. And I expect its base stats to also be nerfed just before the Gen3 update. The stats can be changed with just a server-side update and will be a likely sign that Gen3 is about to drop if they are not happening at the same time.
