Sky Attack vs. Future Sight for Lugia?
I get the pros and cons of both moves in theory, but I was hoping to get some input on what people have actually found to be more useful. Fast move is Extrasensory, and I only have one with IVs worth powering up. Thoughts?

For me personally I like my pokemon to have two of the same type of moves. (With few exceptions). For example Mewtwo, I want C/P and while I recognise it isn't C/SB for generalist or C/FB for gyms. It's a double psychic which I like both moves are SE against the same type. And now that is where exceptions come in. Like for me personally, I like SP/SB on my Gengar, I just prefer SP over hex. Now lugia is the same way, except I prefer FS, don't know why, I just like how FS feels when attacking, but in terms of machamp and nuetral damage, I do agree that Sky Attack is superior, I mean it's objective. Eventually I plan to have both sets powered to atleast 30, but the ES/FS will probably be the one I take past 30.
On the other hand SP has higher DPS despite the lack of STAB which somewhat balances out the difference in EPS. Compared to Ghost, Dark is NVE against Fairy and Fighting. I personally couldn't think of any scenarios where I'd use Gengar against a Fairy or Fighting type opponent.
Also, SP has a duration of 0,7s and Hex has 1,2s which gives the dodging advantage to SP. How much does it matter? I don't know. The moves seem to be on par with each other anyway so I guess it comes down to personal preference.
