Just a question, I'm not being impatient. I love using only this site. However, I am seeing other sites already providing a lot more information than this one. What is ETA on defender/attack tier list etc?
Hi there, I don't think there has been anything said about an ETA. The reason this website takes longer is because they are (probably) running multiple and more advances simulations.
I'm waiting in general with powering of my Pokemon until results are published on this website. Always found them very reliable.
A lot of places are also just throwing out rankings based purely on DPS (or maybe if you're lucky, effective DPS weighted by attack stat) or maybe some other very elementary stats. They haven't necessarily put thought into how the changed timings will effect people's dodging strategies, relative effectiveness of 1/2/3 bar moves, what the gym meta is going to look like long-term once it becomes clear how readily available species are and what the good defenders are.
I know I'm personally still trying to nail down what dodging strategy I need to use and how timing of energy cycles work. I used to be able to predominantly just dodge charge attacks and tank my way through most matchups. With fast attacks all being slower now, I'm finding it more difficult to consistently be able to dodge charge moves in time unless I opt for dodging all attacks. I also used to be able to consistently charge and shoot off my one-bar attacks before a defender could get off a one-bar charge attack, now they are building up energy for 1 bar attacks faster than I am (whether I dodge all or continuously attack).
