Should I use a charged tm on my only legacy dragonite

I'd wait...too low CP to be useful for raids and with SE being 1.4 vs 1.2 stab, I think I've read a Lvl 20 Machamp does more damage to Tyranitar than a Lvl 40 Dragonite...

Dnite is still good as a 6th man (I maxed mine recently), but investing tons of dust on a low IV, low CP mon is not something I'd do. Ultimately, what would you use it for and is dust that plentiful?

One level 2 and then I walked to a tyranitar.. I found like 10 people there and there were 2-3 spoofers.

I managed to get a 88% with Double Dark attack.. and his stats are 15 14/13 12/11 I think I should power him up... attacks are what I wanted!!!

What level is he?

I'll provide the contrarian point of view.

I spent an incredible amount of time collecting dratini candy during gen1 trying so hard to get a db/dc dragonite but I would only ever evolve steel wing. Then one day I caught a db/hb dragonite but with 33iv. Gen2 came and there went db! So I powered my db/hb up anyway. At 3k cp he still wasn't anything that great with hb but then TMs came along and I knew I could now give him db/h or db/o. I got db/h and he has now become one of my favorites including vs machamp bosses. If you've been using him you know how quick db is. Now you can couple that with a powerful charge!

So...I say go for it. It's all for fun. You deserve to make him worthwhile.
