Should I power up this nice Raichu ?

Hey Guys,

I hatched a 96% Pikachu today and it evolved into a Raichu with Spark/Thunder. I evolved 2 Pikachus in the past and got bad moves, so I'm happy i got this one finally.

Thing is, should I power it up ? I already have a 91% Jolteon with thundershock/thunder maxed out which I use to melt Gyarados and also to battle Laprases. I love to use it since its cool lol.

Do you think this Raichu will perform better than my Jolteon ? I want to power it up since its even cooler than Jolteon, but I don't know hehe.

Great against Vaporeon too!

But the Jolteon will last a bit longer so overall I think about the same.

I wouldn't. I save dust on strong species only

If you really want, do it. But you shouldnt if you want to save dust for top tiers. Vaporeon/Gyarados you can explode with Exeggutors and Laprases with Arcanine. Since you already have a maxed Jolteon (which i wouldnt power up too) i guess its VERY unecessary spend dust on this one.

Logically he's not worth it if you've got a strong Jolteon, but if you enjoy using him why not. I took down a couple of llv6 gyms using a pair of Electabuzzes and four Jolteon yesterday and loved the speed with which you could cut through the gym.

If you don't have pressing need for the dust go for it.
