Hey everyone. After a few months I managed to gather enough candy AND a nice Totodile for a Feraligatr. Got this 93% tiny guy and evolved him.
As I expected it came up with Bite and Crunch (I could make a pretty extense list of mons I evolved into and got awful movesets).
Thing is: Is it worth to power it up? Where I live I see mostly Blisseys, Gyarados, Dragonites and Snorlax defending gyms.
Edit: I assume it IS worth for that IV% but as I wont be having benefits from STAB I wondered...
Personally I would not. I either power up gym defenders, or elite attackers. Elite attackers meaning the best at a certain niche. I don't see how this guy qualifies.
But, you never know how they may change the game. My hope is that they'll make changes to gyms so that more Pokémon are relevant as defenders, in which case maybe this guy is boosted.
Worth powering up? Seriously? It's okay bro I feel you, let go of the feraligatr you got, sorry to say but it's useless even with 93% IV. I was also having bad luck in movesets during the event, I raged and made a post about it here https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/q-a/bad-evolution-movesets-during-easter-event In addition to that list, yesterday I evolved 2 dragonites and they got DT/HB and SW/HB, seriously 2 hyper-fucking-beam dragonites? My feraligatr got bite/ice beam, another useless moveset. The chances of getting the best moveset is 1/6 and yet the best movesets I got during the event was like 1/12.
