Should I power up
hey guys,
Been doing some grinding lately; evolved some Pokemons. Should I power these up? I'm halfway through lv 28. Appreciate the suggestions.
Vaporeon cp 989 (98%IV 15atk/14def/15sta), Water Gun/Hydro Pump.Have one with WG/HP at 84%IV. Wanted a better one. The IV on this Eevee is the best one I've come across so far. I have about 1000 Eevee candies and 627k dust.
Exeggutor cp 1884 (89%IV 13atk/12def/15sta), Zen Headbutt/Solarbeam.This one right here is my first Exeg with the best moveset. I was thinking the atk and def stats were a bit low though.
Rhydon cp 1854 (91%IV 11atk/15def/15sta), Mud Slap/Earthquake.11 atk stat is a bit low no? I have another one with Rock Smash/Earthquake.
Vileplume cp 1343 (95.6%IV) Razor Leaf/Solar Beam.Plume got nerfed, still worthy to power up?
Gyarados cp 1862 (95.6%IV) Bite/Dragon Pulse[sigh] .My third straight one with this moveset.
Gengar cp 1932 (95.6%IV) Shadow Claw/Dark Pulse.I know the moveset ain't ideal.
Blastoise cp 1306 (97.8%IV) Water Gun/Ice Beam......sigh Jolteon cp 1542 (91%IV) Thunder Shock/Thunder Bolt.Also got a new Arcanine (bite/bulldoze...****), Rapidash (low kick/drill run smh), both at 95.6%IV. I transferred them.......

- Low LVL, sure you can get one higher soon, BUT with all that dust you have, DO IT, power this thing up.
- Same, very powerfull attacker. 80+ ivs are good!
- Same here! Rock smash is a very bad basic attack... the one with mud slap is usefull for atack and defense
- Nerfed... use him as a prestiger!
- Only if you dont have defenders with high CP to put up in gyms... gyarados sadly is food for jolteon
- I ll wait for one with poison special move or even shadow ball

Arcanine and rapidash = candies

Ad Gyarados: sure joltean crushes him, but except of Snorlax and Lapras every Pokémon has a counter.
Pinsir and other bugs + Arcanine crush Exeggutor
Venusaur, Tangela, even Parasect with SB crush Vaporeon
All water types crush Arcanine
All waters and all grasses crush Rhydon
Lapras, Cloyster and Dewgong crush Dragonite
So Gyarados is really not as bad on defense as people make him look. He does only have 1 real weakness after all.
You have a lot of stardust, so I would power up the nearly-perfect vaporeon even if it's low level ;)
Exeggcutor: if you find a lot of eggs in your area you could wait to fino one higher level, if not, power it up!
Rhydon: go for the mud slap/earthquake 91%, will be huge cp!
Vileplume: I LOVE vileplum, so I powered one with razor leaf/solar beam and at level 30+ is 2000+ cp and very goot attacker. Venusaur with best moveset (W/SB) is better for sure so, power it up only if you like it!
Gyarados: same as exeggcutor
Gengar: very high IVs but wait for one with sludge bomb or shadow ball
Blastoise: power it up if you want to use it for defense, but due to not very high max cp you usually prefer to use something else for defense. I would wait for one with watergun/hydropump
Jolteon: power it up for sure!
