Should I make an Ampharos?

After playing for many months, I finally have enough Mareep candies to evolve an Ampharos. I currently have a 93% IV Mareep with 14 attack and 130 candies. Is it worth evolving into an Ampharos? Or should I wait for a higher Mareep.

Now I don't get many 10km eggs and when I do I always seem to get the worst Pokemon. I have only hatched 2 Mareeps, so it may be a very long time until I hatch a better one. I also realize that Ampharos isn't really that great of a Pokemon, but I have always found him to be one of the coolest Gen 2.
