Should I keep this Starmie?

Hey guys -- so I have a little unusual Starmie IMO with Quick Attack (10) which is a normal move, and Power Gem (40, three bars) which is a rock type move. CP 1346

or should i try and collect enough to evolve my CP512 Staryu in hope of HydoPump?

Hey Eskimo, I'm pretty sure Water gun Hydro pump is what you want. Stab is king right now, there isn't much reason to have non same type moves atm. Starmie isn't that great right now, but he does get resistance to Psychic and Fighting, which is kinda nice.

I wouldn honestly keep it. It is a terrible attacker BUT. Quick Attack is the best def move starmie can learn. As they do not spam moves on def the higher the initial hit the better. Power Gem isn't the highest DPS for def BUT again it has an advantage in the fact that it only has a .8 second dodge window. Good luck not getting hit by that.
