Should I keep leveling up this Arcanine ?
Hey guys, I'm lvl 27 and I have been powering up an Arcanine 91% with Fire Fang/Flamethrower.
However, despite that, I have been trying to get one with Fire Blast. I have evolved like 3 with good IVs, but 2 of them came with Bulldoze, and the 3rd came with Bite/Thrower.
Thing is, I'm kind of tired of trying to find good Growlithes just to see if I get FireBlast. Moreover, Growlithes are really hard find to get around here so its really a pain in the *ss.
Basically, I want to keep leveling up my Arcanine 91% with Fang/Flamethrower but I want to know you opinion about this one since I have found it really useful so far but people seems to be obsessed with the Fire Blast move.

PS: I use it for attacking. Fire 'mons are kind of useless for defending lol.

Personally I don't really favor Fire Blast over Flamethrower. I have one of each, both have Bite as quick attack.
Because of the long cooldown, I only feel comfortable using Fire Blast after the defender has already used his charge move, at which point I would already have used a Flamethrower and charged up two more to fire straight after the defender uses his charge move. Fire Blast hits harder, but Flamethrower is more versatile and gets more use.
Since it already has Fire Fang, I'd power it up to 30 if I were you. In the case you find a better Arcanine, you could always put it in a gym where CP-creeping is an issue, as his high IVs will put him right up there below the Snorlaxes.
