Should I aspire for another Tyranitar?

I know I should be thankful for this and I am. I just want to know if I should invest my remaining candies and future buddy candy to this beast? I hatched him earlier and evolved him not 5 minutes ago. Spent a couple more dancing ANYWAY... Stats are 15/15/14. How does Crunch's DPS fare or probably differ from Stone Edge? I can also see GamePress ranks this moveset higher than SE but Crunch has along CD which kinda makes me wonder.

Yes invest in him. Thanks to the rework I finally had a reason to use my B/CR Granbull and I was very impressed with the feel of that set. So all it would be is even more damage. Also Congrats!

Thanks for the input and kind words. I have another 82% IV Larvitar which has been my buddy since the day I caught him. I only hatched 3 Larvitars so all my candies aside from the ones given by eggs came from him. If Stone Edge and Crunch are worlds apart in damage, I would use a TM to roll SE. Kinda feel sorry for the little guy though. I think he will never see the virtual world of Pokémon Go thru his max evolved form.

Great stats! Would personally invest! Play test Crunch and SE on other pokes to get a feel (of course get a quick move similar to Bite). If for some reason you still don't like crunch, you can always reroll for SE with TM's if you feel it's worth it in the future. Congrats!

Thanks buddy! Well... Unfortunately I have no other Pokémon to try that can give me a feel of B/SE moveset. MS/SE would be rhe closest one I have but MS is pretty slow. Anyway... Thanks again!
