shiny pokemon & PoGo+

Is it confirmed that a shiny can be caught with Pogo+? I know the pokemon doesn't become a shiny until the encounter screen...so, If no encounter screen (like with Pogo+)...can you still catch a shiny? I definitely don't want to miss out on them if I use the little gadget. Thanks for the info.

Not sure, not caught a shiny yet and dont own a PoGo+

however...i would assume so ?

hopefully someone can get very lucky and confirm it tho

It was confirmed on thesliproad that you can catch them with Go+.
