Shiny Pikachu value

I caught two shiny Pikachu today with the Surf move. one is 8% and the other is 86%. Initially I thought it was a no brainer to evolve the high IV one into a Raichu, but does it have more value with the Exclusive Surf move? Which of them should I evolve to Raichu? the 8%, the 86% or neither?

Shiny pika has been devalued, everyone has more than a few thanks to the event.

Didn't answer my question, which was comparing the value of a shiny surf pickachu to a shiny raichu, not comparing either to other shiny mons. The event was only three hours, no everyone had a chance to play. I barely got the two I have, only in the last half hour.

"I barely got two shinies in a three hour window"

Are you quite serious...

From my experience the majority of individuals (at the park near me) were able to secure multiple.

If a lot of people have multiple shiny pikachus with the move surf
(yes, not everyone, but at least a population that actively plays the game and will most likely consist of individuals I will wish to trade Pokémon with if trading were to be released)
does it make rare?

In other words, will having a shiny pikachu with the move surf (legacy) in favor having a shiny Raichu without a special move present a more desirable Pokémon? No. With that being said I’m not evolving any of mine, only for the sake of having pieces of Pokémon go history

I didn't get any during the event. But I already have a shiny Raichu, so no big deal.

I would keep both as Pikachu (don't evolve), you won't get another chance at getting a shiny Pikachu with surf.

There's no way to answer that question. There's no trading, so your pokemon have the value you give them.

If there was trading, the higher IV has more value. But I don't think shiny pikachu would be traded for a lot anyway? I would give you a farfetchd?

What would you part with your Shiny Surf Pikachu to get?

You have unlocked shiny Pikachu in your dex...but I am assuming you haven't unlocked Shiny Raichu in your dex.

Does a dex entry have value to you?

I am not sure that there is anything else that could assign a value.

Shiny Raichu cannot learn Surf.

Personally I don't care about ivs on pokemon that I won't power up. A shiny pikachu is more valuable without surf as getting a shiny pikachu with surf was so easy so I would evolve the highest cp one

I guess that chance to get shiny with surf was the same as without it. So both devalued

They all had surf during the event. If you think a shiny without surf has more value just TM your surf shiny.

All shinies or all picachus had surf?
I got only two regular, one with surf and one with wild charge.

If any shiny Pikachu had more value than another, I'd suspect it would be based on date captured, not necessarily the exclusive move. If this event devalued shiny Pikachus, then trading for a shiny Pikachu with an older capture date might have more value.

To me, worth jack sh**. I didn't bother with the event because tf am I going to use a shiny pikachu for. A shiny magikarp is worth way more because at least Gyarados is relevant, sort of

First, as many pointed out, there is no trading!

Second, trading value is usually connected to how hard it is to get hold of something.

Almost everyone who wanted a shiny Pikachu got one during this event, many in multiples. From being rather rare a shiny pikachu is now very common, as is a shiny Raichu. (Guess a shiny Pichu is still kind of rare).
