Shiny Karp Found

It was 1st thing in the morning. The Karp had a CP of 15 and I happened to be out of pokeballs. I have no interest in catching one. Thanks Niantic.

If he/she lives in a rural area with only one Pokestop every mile than yes. That is annoying af and really unfair and there is no reason for that? In fact, in the main series you could only catch the really good ones in rural areas...

So the question seems to be: how to obtain Pokeballs.

Walk to a nearby Pokestop and spin. Pokeball droprate is quite high. If there is no Pokestop nearby then I'm sorry for you but Niantic doesn't seem to care.

Lived semi rural for a few months with the nearest stop beeing 500m away (next one another 500m). That really sucked but unfortunately there is nothing you can do about except traveling to cities with stops.

I personally really like the idea that there should be many items and crap mons in the city while the good ones are out the in wild. In the woods, mountains etc. Just like in the main series. Lions, elefants, bears and whatever do not live in cities.

  4. Click on Karp again
  5. Catch Karp

The funniest part is that you don't even need to run away since last update, you can buy pokeballs straight from the catch screen if you are out of them :D

I bought the pokeballs. I didnt care because the CP was 15. I guess you would have evilved it and powered it up, no ?

Wait, so you could have caught it and had the balls, but you passed on a shiny beacause of low CP? That is crazy, but to each their own. Just know people are desperately looking for a shiny just to have it in their collection. It is rare to find.

Lol, the original poster is trolling.

No one in their right mind passes on a unique/rare mon like this regardless of CP. What if it had amazing IVs? The trolling is strong on this one.

Depends on the IV. If it's not above 60/70% for a shiny I wouldn't bother powering it up. You'll face one (hopefully) with better IVs in the future. It's still a nice collectors item.
