Shadowban duration for using IV checker

Didn't pay any attention to how you get banned in this game so never thought an IV checker was considered cheating. Unfortunately I was one of the chosen ones to get shadowbanned and it hasn't been lifted for two weeks. Has anyone been unbanned from this and how long did it take?

Very few spawns compared to normal and their all very common Pokemon

Idk off-hand but if you do dig through the Silph Road's Reddit page there have been posts regarding shadowbans in the past

I read on the the TSR subreddit that there is currently a major spoofing/cheating ban wave that includes using certain IV checkers. You will find a lot of info and links there.

Repent, remove your IV checker and hope it won't become a perma ban.

My friend just got unbanned. He was using one of the IV checkers that require log-in (despite me warning him not to use that one). He uninstalled the IV Checker App, then PoGo, then re-installed PoGo. Was good the next day.
