Shadow Claw Gengar 10Atk VS Hex Gengar 15Atk

I just traded someone for their Shadow Claw Gengar for a Torkoal I got at Go Fest, and it was at 98% with 15Atk, but dropped to 57% with 10Atk. So I have a 100% Gengar with Hex. Which one would have better DPS if both are at level 35? The 10Atk Shadow Claw or the 15Atk Hex, both with Shadow Ball?

Pure DPS in raids and ghost attack beeing super effective at lvl 40:

15A-Shadow Claw vs 15A-Hex
SC 15% higher DPS than H.

10A-Shadow Claw vs 15A-Hex
SC 9% higer DPS than H.

So then should I CTM the move Dark Pulse, even though Dark Pulse is legacy, or just keep it for a legacy moveset Gengar?

Not sure if I got it wright?

But DPS = damage per second. Or did I write something wrong?

Maybe the original owner wouldn't change it from the dark pulse (outclassed) legacy move...so they sent it to the slaughterhouse instead. Yeah, change it to shadowball

shadow claw every day of the week, just is a straight up better move, and more than compensates for a loss in 5 attack

When was it caught, too? In '16 or early 17? At least when I ruined my 98% Arcanine (born 8/28/16) this morning it had 14a

It was caught in oct 2016. Mad that it didn’t turn lucky. I guess he really wanted a torkoal. He never used it I guess.

I believe that lucky pokemon are still bugged. Maybe Niantic disabled them or reduced the odds infinitely. I haven't got a lucky since the first day. No matter we were trading 1 year or 2 year old pokemon every single time. In fact, I recall that the only new lucky came from a trade of 2 alolan less than 3 weeks old...

I got 1 lucky in my trading today, wow I got a carvanha, just traded things til I got one. Took a while.****I'm 25 lucky for 185 trades. 3 for 60 bt today and yesterday. First few hours I got 16 lucky, was trading some older stuff both ways. Pickins slim now. No lucky legendary for me.

That sucks! I have a lucky Snorlax (non body slam) a lucky Exploud and a lucky Gyarados from all the trading I’ve done. Nothing great in IVs, and I’ve tried a Mewtwo and a few legendarys and no lucky of those either.

Sure I have 5 lucky Machamps now, but added a level 35 lucky Breloom yesterday and evolved another high IV level 35 Breloom today and it got DP. I CTMed that earlier Breloom to DP. I have a year supply of revives and max revives, so may as well fight with Breloom for a while

If I recall I’ve heard even a 0% Shadow Claw is better for DPS. I would definitely use Shadow Claw as he is near top overall DPS of ALL pokemon with Shadow Claw. He would lead in anything weak to ghost
