SEADRA POWER UP QUESTION

Should I evolve my 96 IV (15/15/13) Seadra at 1238 CP or a 44 IV Seadra with 1443 CP?

I have just received a dragon scale and as I am a free-to-play player, I don't have a lot of stardust for powering up after evolution.

Is a Kingdra worth the stardust investment?

I am level 28 btw!

Evolve the 96 IV, check moves, dont use dust regardless

Thanks, will leave him at around 1500 CP, good for prestiging against Dragonite I guess

Go for the 96%, the CP difference isn't that much anyway.

I evolved 2 Kingdras:
1st level 3 98% ~200cp
2nd 96% ~1000cp

What does being free to play have to do with dust? Besides you don't typically power up kingdra, it's a useful prestiging mon

You hatch way less eggs and every egg is about 1k dust. But I suppose his low dust rather caused by powering up some crap.

Yes, I have hatched less than 100 eggs and I have playing since release. I don't usually power up crap, unless you call Gyarados, Rhydon, Snorlax, Machamp, Golem, Gengar, Espeon, Alakazam and Jolteon crap!

Why would being free to play effect your dust?

The main thing is just grinding.

Sure you get dust from eggs but not its not a huge difference unless you literally ran full incubators 24/7

Im pretty much free to play, maybe spent £20 to £25 in total.

Wow well done on 1 million stardust man but there is a significant difference between spending 20 to 25 GBP and spending nought. I only power up top tier pokemon like Gyarados, Snorlax, Alakazam, Rhydon, Espeon, etc.

Seriously... not. Too low for defence, and Dragon is weak to Dragon for attack.

If one of your Seadras has Dragon Breath/Dragon Pulse (or the Ice attacks), it's better as prestiger.

Kingdra is better against Vaporeon than it is against dragonite; but the big grasses are still better. I am surprised that he didn't make Tier 4 on the D chart, though.

Like Tentacruel, Slowbro, Slowking, Starmie, Gyarados or Lanturn (the best). Resistance + STAB is still nice for combats, when no grasses are avaible.
