scyther question

I have the following
IV 82 lvl 22 air slash / aerial ace
IV 73 lvl 20 furry cutter / x sc
IV 71 lvl 20 steel wing / night slash
Candy is pretty rare I want to evolve one to get my first and mostly only scizor , I am thinking of going with the 71 and keep the others for their moveset , is that thinking right ? I only hatched this 2 so hatches also is extremely rare to wait for a better one
Update ( conclusion ): all replies is in favor of waiting for better Iv or higher lvl , so it is ,

Really what's the rush? Those IVs leave some thing to be desired. But I'm impatient too. Go for it if you want but you won't be able to power him up anyway. In my experience fresh out the egg Scizor is just a little high for prestige.

Wait until you hatch one. Just jatvhed one las week with 96% IVs. And those are level 20ish anyway.

Isn't this obvious enough? The 82% IV one will get evolved. It will save you 4 candies and 5000 stardust, and being with more IV.

FC/X-s is clearly better than AS/AA against Exeggutor when only considering the type advantage and the base move power.

If you want, just transfer the 71% IV one, one-time prestiger.

Technically it would save 11,000 stardust, and 10 candies, but I still disagree. Evolve none of those, he'd be wasting 50 candies on something that is rare to him. If he hatches one, with higher IVs, he'd also get the make-up 10 candies as well.

Edit: if something is rare, then you should always wait for high IVs or at least higher level pokemon with decent IVs. You are talking approximately 100cp between high IV level 20 and low IV level 22. It's not like pidgeys, evolve it, evolve another, oh look high IVs evolve it. If he evolves the 82% one, and then hatches a 93-100%, he now faces the dilemma of powering up the 82% Scizor, or wait to get 50 candies to evolve the high OV Scyther

Scyther nests pop up once in a while, and they can be farmed for both candies and high-IV specimens. According to my pokedex, I've caught 113 Scythers, and I'd guess about 100 of those were from just two nests that I farmed aggressively while they lasted.

So, with those being your choices, I'd suggest waiting and keeping an eye out for a Scyther nest to pop up in your area.
