Scizor vs. Pinsir: Who is the bug king?

I have a Pinsir and Scizor with optimal bug movesets both at level 20. If I want to invest in one bug king (potentially as a attacker into Mew/Mewtwo/Celebi and other psychics), who do I choose?
Their stats seem almost identical, though it looks like Scizor has better overall type resistance due to being Steel.

Thoughts?

It's pretty much the same pokemon, but Scizor wins due to resistances.Scizor even has psychic resistance, which is the most important one.

Pinsir's moveset is higher DPS for what it's worth, and it will do more damage (very marginally) in favour for lessened resistances.

Most practical purposes you will want Scizor.

I have 435 Pinsir candies...but one double bug, at least 2238 level 29.5 and 85%. Scizor, biggest one is 2283 but BP/NS...I have other Scizors, but each has its own issue. Gonna try to get around whatever need there is to have perfect bugs

FC gains energy faster, which equals more XS.... Also the "bulk" of Scizors resistance also equals more XS. So, overall, the argument of Scizor having greater DPS over pinsir can be made. Especially if Scizor's Att IV is 15 and Pinsir's is less than 13.

In terms of damage, Pinsir is more effective, it would take 30 seconds less of sustained damage for a level 30 pinsir to defeat a tier 4 mewtwo raid than it would to do the same for a level 30 scizor to the same, however scizor will be more "tanky" as he resists mewtwo's psychic attacks.
