Scizor power up?

Yes, bug set may be better but that is the best steel set. I would power it up to fight grass types (stab still), dragon types (if you want, its decent but not great).

And blissey/snorlax it is a viable counter although its like tier 3.5.

Yah I would mainly because he looks cool as well... the coolest thing you can think of besides syther.

i would power up a scizor only if it has either double bug or steel moveset. so yeah, i'll definitely power that up.

I got a double-steel Scizor with my first metal coat, but I'm not powering it up. The double-bug moveset is probably the best anti-Exeggutor attacker, but any matchup I'd use the double-steel moveset for, something else would do better.

Well, I've gotten that exact same move set with all three Scizors I've evolved so far, and I have no plans to power up any of them. Worst possible combination, as far as I'm concerned.

Scizor is actually good against tyranitar as well as long as you dodge efficiently. since he is weak against bug and steel type mons which is perfect since he is a bug/steel type Pokémon. The only difference between the bug type moveset and the steel type moveset is the cool down time and EPS and DPS. The double bug moveset you can dodge more efficiently and can get about 5 or 6 FC if you time it right. With the double steel moveset you can get about 1 or 2 BP in before dodging but has more dps output compared to FC but the short cooldown on FC makes up for it. Both are great movesets and if your just looking for a good attacker that one should get the job done.
