Is a 98% Scizor worth maxing out to lvl 40 from lvl 20? Does anybody have one maxed out and put it to use? Thanks!

same question.

I've one 100% Scizor at lvl24 and still don't know what to do with it.

I have 2 IV100%, double-bug scizors and a 98%, double-steel one, only one of them maxed out to 40. Can't say I've used them much, the maxed out 100 rarely gets auto-selected for anything but FC/XS "feels" great for dodging, even though it doesn't deal that much damage. Dunno what else to say, I do plan on maxing out the second one in time just because it is 100% as well but right now I would only recommend it to you if you have lots of dust and candies and don't know what to use them on like me.

I've got one at L39 with FC/XS. I love attacking with it, but can't say there's much "use" for it anymore, especially with Exeggutor falling out of favor as a defender and Bug not being super relevant in general (Tyranitar has anti-Psychic on lockdown).

Maybe if you are trying to solo Alakazam but are short on dark attackers, or trying to 2-man Absol but are short on fighting attackers. Those are the only relevant raids ...unless you get an EX invite.

I have a lvl 37 100% FC/XS Scizor, and according to Pokebattler, it is among my top six attackers against both Absol and Alakazam with "unknown moveset." Against 'Zam, it comes in behind my lvl 35 SC/SB Gengar, my lvl 36 C/SB Mewtwo, and my lvl 35 B/C Tyranitar, but ahead of my three lvl 30 B/C Tyranitars, my two lvl 33 H/SB Gengars, and my lvl 40 100% DT/O Dragonite.

It also makes my top six against certain Mewtwo movesets.

Personally, I like using it for the nimbleness of its moveset, and for diversity's sake. It really needs the double bug FC/XS moveset to shine, though.

Probably going to be useful against celebi.

Might take a spot against alakazam, Latias against mewtwo.

short answer no. get a bug and a steel one to 30 and they'll still be useless on def and better picks on offence.

not bad, just not good.

I got two 100 scizors maxed out to 40 and another at 35. They will be useful for celebi raids. Will be possible to 2 man celebi under rainy conditions lol.

I like him (double bug). If u live somewhere were its raining often he is very good.
Due to dodge ability I even have him in my normal gym attacker team (2Nites, 2Mach, Raikou & Scizor).
He is no must have but I would give him a place in the top15 and as far I know he wont be replaced by a better of his kind like par example Gyarados.
