I know he ain't gonna set pulses racing but treecko and sceptile were my fav hoenn starters and one of my all times. Got a level 32 (wow thanks weather) 100% treecko so all i need are 125 candies for a really good grass attacker but like should i expect much? Or am i better off grinding torchics or slakoths. Good thing is he is level 32 so no dust need be wasted. Could be good for groudon w solar beam maybe...

Wow congrats. It will probably be the best grass DPS, either quick move + Leaf Blade looks to be pretty damn good (idk the math on fury cutter's energy generation but it is really high and might make up for the lack of grass quick move damage). I'm sure there will be a use for grass damage in the future, so personally I would power it up (but then again, I like to max out any 100% that is good at something).

Thanks mate! Yeah i will keep it at 32 for now and maybe go for torchics and salamences. He will get the dust eventually but at the moment im skint on dust so sceptile baby has to wait haha. I will just evolve and hope for BS/LB or else i shall TM

Very good grass attacker. Not better than Venusaur/Egg-man but on that tier damage-wise. More glass than Venusaur, but better attack stat. Bullet Seed/Leaf Blade is a solid and unique (I believe) moveset. At already level 32, it is going to be useful as a grass attacker especially if you like it.

Thanks haha! Yeah hope leaf blade gives him the edge over those 2 heh. But yeah both hoenn title legendary pokes r weak to grass so yeah u are right he has use.

Awesome catch . I’m still waiting for a 100% Bulbasaur to have all 3 Gen 1 starters 100%IV. Came close at a gym, caught a Level 19 14/15/15

Sounds great man! But niantic made the starters so bad in general with the stat formula :( there are so many fire/water/grass types that outperform em

I know. Still want them for Mega Evolutions down the road in a few years.
