Saving Regional Exclusives for trading?

Do any of you save your regional exclusive pokemon (i.e. Farfetched Tauros Mr. Mime and Kangaskhan) in hopes for trading in the future?

I thought about this and saved 4 farfetched but now I have a whole stash of 17 Mr. Mimes so I'm not sure if I should just start transferring them as they don't seem to be that rare and plenty will be available for trading if it ever comes up. What do you guys think, or what do you guys do?

Mr Mimes aren't that rare ever since the increase in spawn diversity as well as the recent event that boosted pokestop items and spawn rate, at least from my experience. Before that I'd only caught 2 or 3, now I'm up to 27 just from that week or so.

Plus they're crap at battling so the only ones that I assume would have any considerable value would be 100% IV ones for collection purposes.

But you may as well keep them for now in case we're able to trade useful things like candies or pokecoins and not just trade pokemon for pokemon, I'm sure you've got other things that you could get rid of, like Jynxes and whatnot that would have literally 0 value.

A low level Jynx is still a useful to train a dragonite gym of your team, but I suppose I have a 1k lapras for that...

It's really my obsession of having a '82+ IV and perfect moveset' pokemon of each type (yes, that includes useless mons like Fearow and Seaking) that cause me to think about transferring these duplicates over the others.

You really think people looking to trade are only going to go for high IV ones, or do they 'just want a Mr. Mime'. I'm pretty sure no one will be too fussed with my CP 53 farfetched ever, a maxed farfetch can't go far anyway.

I also save my regional Mr. Mime for trading, but I only keep the four best since three suffice for trading.
