Saving candies or not?

Hey, this is babyFreez3 teamvalor lvl 33
I wonder if it is still logical to hold on to candies because of "save your candies" shenanigans..
should I wait for no reason or should I start evolving? I've collected more than 100k xp evolution..
It may have been asked many times , but I want your opinions , ty..

Honestly, I'd wait just for certain types of evolutions (the ones who require the most, like Machop, Abra, Dratini ecc), but I don't see any reason to hold onto Pidgey, Sentret, Rattata and so on; you can easily gain 500 candies of each with just grinding a day.

I'm evolving as needed for better defenders and attackers.
I'm also evolving if I get a good mon for pokedex.
I'm not evolving any mons just for xp, I'll wait as long as I can to see if a 2x XP events happens.

in other words, I have not changed my game play at all because of the "save your candies" comment.

I am waiting until easter, If there is no event then I will evolve everything.

Same here. There is absolutely no rush for me, I don't have a full or close to full bag space and I am not close to an important level up (for example 25-30-35 where you get some incubator and lucky egg), so I will keep waiting at least until easter.

I will wait for a while for any xp events, the outcome would be good for me cuz I have tons of evolutions to get xp , so let's see...

still holding out on my big evolves, just incase.
I guess Easter is the limit for my waiting.

got a 89% Dratini waiting and loads of candy from tons of hatches the other week

not had much 10km luck lately tho :/
hatched 3 Dratini back to back then a few more, but not had one for a week+

Also got 215 Larvitar Candies and just waiting for a damm good IV Hatch !

I'm on the same page, I've been holding out new evolutions
nice you got some dratinis , personally I will evolve chansey , larvitar (if I find any good IVs and many gen 2s)
so I will wait for some time..
