Sandslash good for anything at all?

same situation here. hatched a good amount of high iv sandshrews. looking forward to replies

I love Sandslash. I always use him over Rhydon when I want a ground pokemon. I mostly love him because of how quick mud shot is, and he is more than sturdy enough to get the job done. On top of that, he works well as a prestiger because his cp is lower, but I use my 1900 cp one in all situations.

Edit: To answer you question as to what to keep, there isn't a reason to horde them. I would level up the 98% one for high level battling, and keep one at a lower level for effective prestiging.

Yeah he's a great prestiger against Arcanine, Tyranitar, Charizard, Typholosion, Amarphos, Rhydon, and Golem. He's also fun to use.

He's the best Ground type prestiger in the game imo. Bulky, fast and powerful with low-ish CP. He's really enjoyable to use in battle and not a waste of space at all, give him a try!

would keep the 98% and 93% sandslash and the 93% shrew, but not evolve it. even when u live in a desert biome. ive caught/hatched 20 shrew in total, but got a 100% sandslash with metal claw + bulldoze maxed at 2178 atm. never fought with him, but putting him into gyms as defender sometimes if there are low pokemon and the type is fitting. dont think its really strong, but rare to catch here or seen in gyms as defender.

Sandslash was more useful before the CP update when there were Arcanines in every gym. Still okay against Rhydon, but not quite as good as water, about equal to grass since it is not weak to any of Rhydon's charge moves.
