Safe IV checker on android?

I'm on iOS and I currently use poke genie and it works like a charm. I'm worried that my firend get in trouble using an IV checker on android that gets its data directly from PoGo (not from screenshot). What safe checker do you use for android?

IVFLY (Formerly IVStats)

Have to download the apk (not on Play store anymore) + uses Google Authentication Key rather than giving account info for extra layer of security.

I've used the screen overlay apps before but it was annoying between extra work + extra lag (running old hardware)

That doesn't sound very safe, I wouldn't risk it. I use Poke Genie (Android).

IVFLY is one of the apps that will get you shadowbanned. Don't use it and don't suggest it to others.

Is it a permanent shadowban for using it? I'm in week 1 so far out being banned for an IV Calculator..
