Were any of you lucky enough to get a rock throw Omastar. If so what are your opinions on him as a charizard and moltres counter?Considering him being 2x super effective againts both and 2x resisting there fire moves. I know moltres is not out yet.
Golem is stronger than Omastar I believe, the (much improved) stamina increase will more than balance out the double resist, although Rock Slide on Omastar is probably a better move than Stone Edge on Golem.
That being said though, Omastar is certainly excellent against Charizard, though Golem is equally as good, if not better.
I'm aware of that, but I said the increased stamina more than compensates for the single resist vs double resist.
Besides, a double resist only takes off another 16% over a single resist (using the base damage as baseline), but due to rounding issues, a double resist may provide even less of a benefit than that.
