Seedot clearly says its a grass type

But Seedot isn't an EVOLVED grass type. Evolve Nuzleaf into Shiftry and you are good to go.

I'm trying to save candies I'll look for something else to evolve. I already transfered Nuzleaf. I might try exeggcute

Exeggcute is not an evolved grass type either. Take a 3-step evolutionary line and evolve the second into its highest evolution level, is what the task is saying.

Let me put it easier: evolve a Weepinbel, a Gloom, an Ivysaur, a Bayleef, a Nuzleaf, a Lombre, etc.

You need to evolve the Nuzleaf to a Shiftry to complete the carefully worded task.

It didn't say fully evolve or evolve grass type into its final form

Read the task closely

I did read instructions and it didn't say evolve grass types into its final form. So i assume evolving at any stage should be fine

No, it said evolve an evolved grass type. So you don't fulfill it by evolving Seedot, because it isn't an EVOLVED grass type.

My suggestion would be to evolve a Skiploom (which is an evolved Hophip) into a Jumpluff. That will do the trick, as will any other EVOLVED grass form when you evolve it.

You can't use Exeggucute, because it's EVOLVED form doesn't evolve again.

It’s not a bug. It says Evolve an EVOLVED Grass-Type. Meaning evolve a Grass-Type Pokemon that has already evolved once. Ivysaur to Venusaur, Bayleef to Meganium, Nuzleaf to Shiftry, etc.

Remember that English is a second language for many players (and the game may not be available in their native language).

And it is awkwardly worded even for native English speakers.
