ridiculous data usage

hello everyone

what's your data usage those past weeks?im seeing a tremendous increase in the data usage and i dont understand why,i literally lose 100 mb every 2 hours of pokemon go,this is ridiculous
am i doing something wrong?can i help my situation somehow?

About 50 MB in 2 days, but when playing in a new area it will download more map data. I spent 100 MB in 1.5 days in a new city.

Do you use anything that clears app cache regularly, requiring the app to redownload data? Or do you keep it on when driving?

Better not.
How full is your phone storage space? Maybe the app cleans up the little space it has and then redownloads it.

I was actually thinking of asking the same question. It's not as high as 100 MB per hour, but maybe ~30 per hour. I remember I used to find it used about 10 MB an hour last year, so it definitely is using quite a bit more data now.
