Until/unless Rhydon gets a rock quick move the double ground moveset will be better in most of scenarios with only rare exceptions. In those exceptions Golem out performs him anyway.

The quick move of rhydon is too slow for me. So I seldom use it, but MS/SE is a good tank counter for zapdos meanwhile.

At near the same level, what do you think would be better -- that or a Ttar with B/SE? (Assuming we're out of Golems.)

Ttar. Easily.

Remember for Zap who is the current raid target ground is resisted too.

For Zap, what about between a Ttar (B/SE) and a Piloswine (PS/A)? (Assume out of Golems again).

They are both quality options, so depends on the level. Piloswine ps/a will likely last a few seconds longer

TTar dps is higher but pilo survive more so overall does more damage.

Yeah, I guess it probably does. Good thing I'm using mine then. I'm not sure if it is just me, but I love attacking with Piloswine.

Ttar is a bit faster, Piloswine a bit tankier against Zapdos. Both are very good options and only trail Golem. Unless you rate tankiness very highly, I would pick B/SE TTar over Piloswine. Having said that, just to entertain myself, my Zapdos raid team consists of three L30 Golems, followed by a L30 Piloswine and two L30 TTars. I have a third TTar, but it is just more fun using a Piloswine. In a few cases I have had a MS/SE Rhydon as a tanky 6th option, but I'd rather not.

Tyranitar will have higher DPS, but Rhydon will survive longer because of immunity against electric. If you have a lot of Golems, which also have immunity, then go with Tyranitar.

EQ. Leave Ground to Rhydon and Rock to Golem. As long as Niantic doesn't give Tyranitar a Rock tyoe fast move, these two will be my pick for double rock and double ground Pokémons.

I prefer using SE on a neutral or fire target but a double ground rhydon is generally more useful.

If I need a rock attacker I bring golem, or tyranitar they are both way better rock attackers. Rhydon is from what I can tell the best ground type attacker there is (sad to say, I hope they buff ground moves ?) let rhydon be the mono ground attacker, and let the other two be your rock attackers.
