A Pokemon appears. It's usually just random.

That's what the grass with the question mark means, a Pokemon appears. It can be completely random.

It's not random, every quest has its possible reward encounter pokemon. Some quests have more than one but this one is a Typhlosion.

It is not just random. All encounters have a small pool of possible pokemon, some always spawn the same, some have a few different possibilities.

I am going to remove it. Agree, it's a waste of time. Much rather they give us 5000 dust or so.

Agree, the reward from win 2 raids is a quilava which is more useful in preparation for a community day. Typhlosion might become useful with an exclusive move.

i was just thining the other day, Cyndaquil would be a great Community Day candidate. Give him Shadow Ball, he would be a great Ghost/Psychic fighter

I got a Typhlosion level 15.

As others have mentioned, reward consistently appears to be Typhlosion.
