Reward For 3 Excellent Curved Throws In A Row ?

Just completed the field research for 3 Excellent Curved Throws In A Row and was expecting to get an encounter with a Chansey. Was surprised to get a Larvitar.

Anyone know what the reward options are for completing this field research ?

P.S. In case you are wondering, I completed this task on
1. Sudowoodo, 2. Solrock, 3. Furret.

I thought this one was only Larvitar? Chansey is the reward for hatching 5 eggs, a nice target with the halved egg distance right now.

Yes, I think it's always Larvitar. (Congrats on your three excellents BTW!)

There is no task for three excellent curve balls in a row...

If you got Larvitar the task was three excellent throws in a row.

And yes Chancey is the hatch 5 eggs task.

Larvitar is the reward for BOTH tasks: 3 excellent throws in a row, and 3 excellent curve throws in a row.

They both exist.

Many thanks for the clarifications - obviously I have got mixed up with the rewards for different tasks somewhere along the line.

Not that I am unhappy with Larvitar, as he is my current buddy. I had actually collected 2 of these tasks (carrying the first one for about 3 weeks now) without being able to complete them. Now with the double candy, pinaps and exchanging the catches (not great IVs), I received 26 Larvitar candy - which is equivalent to a 130 km buddy distance.
