With event of Dratini raids, Ice Beam Mewtwo, and now Dratini quest rewards, dragon counters are easier to come by. Is Niantic gearing us up for a shiny Rayquaza Raid release when Mewtwo leaves?

Possibly. Shiny Ray would be one way to keep people interested without releasing gen 4.

The only current attractive side of the game is raiding mewtwo, unfortunately. Ray would replace it, indeed.

Would also suit Giratina.

Specially after the psychic event. Fingers crossed...

I think Rayquaza with a 50% increase in boss HP. People were already duo’ing w/o friendship damage bonuses.

Are you saying previous Ray is duoable with friendship bonuses?

It was already duoable, Jynx. Now we are having a month of mega-Jynx raids (minus an ice fast move)

A non-Ice fast move may make a huge difference since flying dragons have a double weakness (as opposed to a single weakness).

Jynx can still learn Frost Breath as far as I know.

Edit: Nevermind, just realized “Mega Jynx” means Mewtwo, lol.

Few want to power a Jynx, even lucky ones. However, people will do 4 Mewtwo a day and spend what they catch on them. Before you had to be in snow/wind and/or both be elite to duo. With the stats it had: now a great player with a good 2nd account could likely do it.

My 2nd has 4 Rayquaza at 3280, two lucky ice Mewtwo and 170 candy, three 3175 Latios, three level 30 Dragonite, multiple lucky Jynx, Piloswine, Cloyster...plus easy to find a third when you know you'll win.
