Research request: "You're going too fast"

I'm sure you have all been there ... you are grinding XP and candies when all of sudden your GPS drifts and the dreaded "You're going too fast" message appears. Do you (A) restart the app or (B) just let it go? I've always wanted to know which approach results in you losing the least amount of walking distance.

Let it go...
Most times you can reset it by attempting to respin a pokestop.
I rarely need to attempt more than 2 or 3 spins of a pokestop, which is much faster than resetting the app.

Let it go. It happens so often I would have my app off more than on...

I'm not sure what "research" you are suggesting, gps drift has nothing to do with niantic, it's just the phone/satellite giving PoGo bad gps data. Just wait it out and move on.
