Regarding powerleveling using a lucky egg

I am an anal person trying to get the absolute highest amount of exp possible from a lucky egg.
As we know, we can only fit a maximum of 75 evolutions (assuming that the evolved pokemon are ones that you already have/caught before) in a lucky egg power level spree.

Currently I have 75 pidgeys & more than enough candies to evolve all of them within 30 minutes.
That said, I want to know, can I also evolve my zubat, growlithe, and poliwhirl? I have enough candies for them but I do not own their evolved forms, which means that I'll have to wait a bit for the pokedex registration animation to finish, thus losing time but also gaining the new pokemon XP.

Sorry for getting a bit complicated, I'm basically asking if it's worth evolving new pokemon for the bonus xp or does evolving all 75 pidgeys net more xp in the long run?

Thanks.

I think you should go for just pidgeys. Pokedex registrations are a little bit longer than evolution animations. I didn't count but it seems so...

Also, you should consider hatching 10 km eggs as many as you can in the same time while evolving your pidgeys with lucky egg. It makes wonders. :)

I think you should look into turning auto time zone and auto time off on your settings > Date and time. Then click that lucky egg and go back to settings and bring your phones time back 30 minutes-50minutes and watch how long you have with your egg 2 X experience now. 30 minutes? Try 60minutes.

This also works for Incense.

Then when your done just go back to settings and turn back on auto til you have enough pokemon and candies to evolve again.

This gives you a much larger window to hatch eggs in too, if you can walk 6 miles (roughly 10km) in a hour I think it's 1,000 xp for hatching a 10km egg so that's 2,000xp per egg plus with an incense all the pokemon you'll be catching inbetween evolving things, all the pokestops along the way...

That's how you level.

You get a big bonus for new pokedex entries. I think it would be worth it but cant back it up with numbers

I think one evolution + its new pokemon registration should slightly be faster than two evolutions of pokemon, but that's my guess.

If you think about it, the new pokemon bonus is an absolute one-off, while even if you don't squeeze in all of your Pidgey you could still get them on the next egg.
