For a 2300 + Gyarados or vap , how much cp jolteon do I need as a decent attacker ?currently am using Elect bug 1100 and almost always faint and continue with another one I have a 551 evee ( i hatched )with high IV and another one 617 but lower IV. I am level 26 at the moment and. Evee is pretty rare around ,
I'd say 1500-1600cp. With my 2100 Jolteon I can deal with 3000+cp Gyarados but requires dodging skills as Jolteon'Hp are quite low.
I think IV are not that important for attackers so your 551 Eevee should evolve to a ~1600 Jolteon and the other one maybe 1800cp (if you're lucky enough to get a Jolteon with your eevolution).
the answer is the higuer you can get, it has low hp so having low cp will really get hurt as you can see with your elect, you can take a gyarados down with 100 cp jolteon for sure, but it is going to be a dodge fest, if you have your name trick try to get a 800 cp good iv eevee, just wait for it
but if you have a lot of water you can try to get solar beam strong guys, like eggy, he melts them too with solar beam
